Health , Safety , Environment and Sustainability
SIP management is fully committed to implement a Health,
Safety and Environment management system, in line with
Saipem core values, based on the principles of
continuous improvement and sustainable development,
complying with international standards, laws and
regulations and satisfying our Customer’s needs and
expectations.
HSE issues are addressed from the very beginning of the
project execution and include from the Engineering stage
milestones such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, Design reviews,
constructability reviews for which safety is a permanent
priority as a major element of design
For all our activities managed and performed at site,
HSE is our permanent focus for which no compromise is
allowed.
Non- alcohol & non-drug policy is in force in the
Company and Our building is a non-smoking area.
The company has permanent agreement with 2 hospitals in
Chennai, world-class equipped and located close to the
SIP building. SIP employees health follow-up is taken
care of by these organizations which can also provide
immediate assistance in any emergency situation.
SIP also extends its HSE efforts beyond the Company
boundaries limits, by largely promoting and sponsoring
its employees and their families in respect of Safety on
the road, Tropical and Transmissible diseases Awareness,
Energy saving and Environmental protection.
