Oil & Gas
SIP took the first onshore
oil & gas project for SAIPEM s.a. in 2001; this was the
ROD Project in Algeria, an oil field development in the
South of the Algerian Sahara region. SIP performed the
major part of the detailed engineering, the other
activities remaining in the Headquarters of Saipem s.a.
in Paris.
Since then, several other
projects were completed by SIP, mainly for Africa and
Middle East and 25-30% of our activity is now performed
in this business segment, either for Saipem projects or
directly for our regional customers.
